And the many components carry within themselves an elemental force that instinctively shapes each other through their differences, using the artist as a medium as a tool. Interactions, questions and answers, the joys and disappointments of experiments build the path into the unknown. She watches with admiration her children's liberated line-drawing experiments, which she borrows, thinking further to move forward with the dynamics of these instinctive forms. In addition to the working method that can be characterized as abstraction, it often happens that she captures a space, a building, or a person, or perhaps a press report, and that provides the theme of the current work. That is why she strives for accuracy, but sometimes, the feelings and distortions reflect the atmosphere of the given topic.

Dorottya Kanics believes that art should permeate life, not be separated from it. The seeds of creativity should be planted in the most diverse areas of life. Her goals also include harnessing the power of art to create connections, shape ideas, and bring about change. She often works in community and socially committed art projects.
